An Accredited University, College, School or Institute that offers Training in an iNARTE discipline, and whose Curriculum has been approved by iNARTE as appropriate for Certification Candidates and that offers BA, BE, BEE or Associate degrees, Diplomas or equivalent, such that iNARTE may award certification to graduates at a Junior or Affiliate level with no further examination.
Designation as an iNARTE Accredited University or Training Institute reflects the quality of the course curriculum and provides national and international recognition of the professionalism that graduates bring to the industry. Graduates from an Accredited University or Training Institute may apply directly to iNARTE for Certification at a Junior Engineer, Junior Technician, Affiliate Engineer or Affiliate Technician, depending upon the discipline they are entering, with no further examination required. Applicants will need to have at least one endorsements from a head of their department or senior tutor, and meet the other iNARTE requirements, including ethical practice and professionalism. Adding iNARTE Certification to their other qualifications enhances the new graduate’s career opportunities and distinguishes them as one of the more dedicated, goal driven individuals.
