| iNARTE signs Affiliate Agreement with RABQSA |
In May 2011, iNARTE signed an Affiliation Agreement with RABQSA. RABQSA was created in 2004 by the merging of the US based Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) and the Australian based Quality Society of Australasia (QSA). In 2005, RAB's accreditation programs for management systems certification bodies became the responsibility of the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB). The auditor certification and auditor training provider programs of RAB became the responsibility of RABQSA International. ASQ, the American Society for Quality is the controlling body of RABQSA.
Both iNARTE and RABQSA organizations are non-profit and non governmental, providing certification services to individuals in public and private sector employ. RABQSA is accredited to the International Standard ISO/IEC 17024:2003 Requirements For Bodies Operating The Certification Of Persons, the globally accepted benchmark for personnel certification that focuses on the defining and examining of competence of personnel.
RABQSA has its principal offices in Milwaukee, USA, Sydney, Australia, and Seoul, Korea,. They also have eleven other international offices.
As a result of this Affiliation, our joint organization has almost 15,000 certificate holder, making us the largest personal credentialling agency in the world. This Affiliation raises the global profile of iNARTE and will provide opportunities to add greater value and recognition for our membership.
